Well, thanks to some editing help from イサベラ, we finally got this one out. Since she’s offered to do all the editing (yay, thank youuuu!!) my workload is down so releases should be speedy! Plus イサベラ is also making a forum!

Anyway Chapter 47 can be downloaded here for Mediafire or here for Megaupload. Please observe Shoujo Yume rules – we allow that you share or host this manga on your own or other sites as long as you preserve all credits and don’t charge money for it. Also when this chapter gets released in an English volume by Viz, please stop distributing this chapter online, and buy the English volumes to support the mangaka!

We hope you enjoy this chapter. My thoughts are already turning to scanning the next one, so please look forward to it and keep checking this site for updates.

Scanning and translating is finished~ I’ve enlisted some help for the editing so I have less work on my plate, hopefully Chapter 47 will be out soon and meanwhile I’ll start scanning and translating Chapter 48.

In other news, Chapter 50, a big milestone for La Corda D’Oro, will be coming out at the end of July. I’m going to try and catch up with the chapters I haven’t released yet so that I can get this one out quickly.

Also, Volume 8 of La Corda D’Oro was released by Viz a few days ago! I hope you’ll all buy a copy to find out what happens between Volume 7 and the chapters I am scanlating. Not to mention that supporting the mangaka will ensure that La Corda can continue in Japan.

Well look forward to some releases soon, I will try to get them to you as quickly as possible!

I am working at translating Chapter 47 right now but circumstances are slowing me down. I’m also going to be away on holiday for a long weekend so I can’t work on it then either, but I’ll make a guess that Chapter 47 should be out by late next week depending on when I can set the scanner up. C47 is basically the start of a new story arc as a new character from the 2nd La Corda game is introduced.

As for Chapter 48… I have no idea when I’ll get round to it. The next issue of Lala is coming out tomorrow (*weep*) so seems like I’ll have another chapter on my hands then too.

Welcome to Shoujo Yume’s new website. I decided to set up camp at WordPress for several reasons, mainly due to the greater range of features here which will allow for the site’s expansion and improvement. This is another one of those steps on that big ladder of manga scanlation groups, and I hope that Shoujo Yume can continue to climb to produce faster, better quality, and a greater number of releases than we currently do. (Of course the major chokehold is our number of staff… if the apparently eager translator who joined a while ago hadn’t suddenly disappeared off the face of the earth, perhaps we would already have seen a few more releases.)

Meanwhile, another limiting factor is of course the fact that it is exam season; being the tender age of 16, I am experiencing the hellish claws of GCSEs locked round my throat. I beg that you wait another 2 weeks! Then my exams will be over, and apart from a few interruptions from The Social Life™, The Celebratory End Of Exams Holiday™ and The Family Holiday™, I imagine I will be able to set a reasonable release pace over the summer.

So, please bear with me. Right now I am not really going to bother recruiting staff until I actually have time to think properly, but if you can scan, edit or translate, please consider offering a hand when I pick up a recruitment drive. (I know I had some offers on my Livejournal, but… well, I don’t have an excuse for not replying. Sorry ^_^’)

I’d like to pick up another series too… if anyone has any requests, fire away! Nothing that’s already being scanlated of course and it must have furigana/rubi on the kanji, or I’ll have trouble scanlating.
